It is the opinion of most of the old zephyr hacks at MIT that the only
viable long-term solution for interrealm zephyr implies protocol
changes, and as far as I know, nobody is paying people to think about
it. Some us flame about it among ourselves, but we haven't reached
any consensus, because we believe that if you open up the Pandora's
Box of protocol changes, you might as well fix all the other mistakes,
and that's a lot :-)
