Good afternoon,
I would like to thank everyone who attended the ITPartners Fall Conference
this past Thursday, Oct 24th, and were kind enough to drop in to offer
their continued interest and feedback in my session on the Windows 2000
Domains & Servers Delivery effort. The session was, in fact, oversubscribed
and generally well-received according to the feedback I have received.
I would also like to thank those of you who expressed their (only too) kind
compliments regarding my work at the Computing Help Desk and ongoing role
in IS. I would like to reciprocate by saying that the success of any one
individual in IS is really built upon the collaboration and cooperation
with fellow colleagues in the organization and beyond; and it is, you, our
customers who continue to motivate us to deliver. Therefore, I accept those
kind words with gratitude and on behalf of my colleagues at the Help Desk
and elsewhere in IS; and remind you these sentiments remain one of the
priorities at the core of this new Delivery effort we are embarking upon.

Currently, we are working on a more standardized and comprehensive layout
for the team notebook, the debut of which is scheduled to coincide with the
official team kick-off, so I apologize for the current "plain" look of the
site. However, at this time, you can find two public announcements and
copies of my presentation in PDF (color, b/w, handouts) and HTML formats.
The HTML (actually more accurately, XML) version currently renders properly
in IE mostly, a by-product of Office 2000, but I am working on a more
standards-compliant version for the near future and all subsequent
documents of this sort.
As I indicated in my session and briefly reprised today at the WinPartners
