Subject: Windows LPR Spooler Web Page and Installer

I was looking for the installer for the Windows LPR Spooler for
Windows 95. I found the web page at:
http://web.mit.edu/is/help/winnt/ntprinting/printing.html
It said:

"An IS-written installed is in beta testing during June 1997. Until
it becomes available, the instructions for installing under Win95
will work. See http://web.mit.edu/is/help/win95/kerberos.html and
search for the section labeled "Kerberos Files for the Windows LPR
Spooler" for how to download the two files you need."

This document is incorrect, because there is no "Kerberos Files for
the Windows LPR Spooler" section and there are no links to any LPR
spooler files. The only link is for the MinK installer, which does
not say it includes the LPR spooler.
Somehow my computer has obtained a copy of the LPR Spooler installer
(v.1.0a). I believe this may have been part of a eudora installation
or from net-dist somewhere. I just accidentaly noticed that the
install.exe file in the c:/net/mit directory was the LPR Spooler
installer.
This installer does not seem to work correctly. It has many errors
while trying to configure the queues to the athena printers, then
seems to install the queues anyway... the installer does not seem to
know which parts of the installation script are queues and which are
other text. Anyway, the installer forgets about ctrl-d and never
mentions that you should turn that off in the postscript drivers, and
also will only install 14 queues from the available list. It does
not give any specific errors about why it did not install these
printers, it just neglects to install them. It seems to install the
first 14 selected from the available list.
Is there an updated version of this installer available anywhere? I
don't even know where the one I have came from so I have no way of
checking if I have the latest version.
