Hello,

As announced today at the IT Partners conference, we want to extend an
invitation to you to join the Windows 2000 Server Discovery Team for a Town
Meeting on Friday, May 3, 2002. The Discovery Team has been busy of the
past several months understanding the various deployment scenarios that may
need to be considered for the MIT community.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide a project status, attempt to
understand the various Windows 2000 server environments that exist, begin
to understand the types of services that you need, discuss various
deployment scenarios for Windows 2000 servers, and to solicit your input to
the problems and issues that you currently are encountering or perhaps
expect to encounter as you plan for a migration from Windows NT Servers to
Windows 2000 Servers.

The meeting is expected to be free-form and an open discussion. Meeting
start promptly at 11AM, Friday, May 3 in W11, Main Dining room. Pizza will
be served at 12:30. Please join us for an informative and engaging
session. Please RSVP (so we have enough food!) to Julie Owens
(jaowens@mit.edu) no later than end of business day on Wed. May 1, 2002
