Hi,
Eudora 3.0.2 has NOT been offically released to the MIT Community.
If it is not on the Eudora web page, then it is not official. The URL below
is a working URL for the Installers group who do not yet feel comfortable
releasing Eudora 3 to the community (why that is true is a whole other story).

Please only point end users to official sites.

If there is something wrong with one of IS's official web documents, such
as the broken links discovered in this case, please send mail to
sendpubs@mit.edu
so that the problem can be corrected. The Help Desk does not maintain
these pages.

However, I believe that the problem the user below is encountering is not a
broken link, but a permissions problem. You have to be on the MIT network
in order to download Eudora. It is a site licensed program. The client
needs to use her Tether account in order to download Eudora. If her
"husband's Netscape access" is not a Tether account, then she will not be
able to download Eudora from MIT using it.

I hope that she is not able to use that other link from an outside ISP.
That would be a significant sercurity hole in our distribution of Eudora.

Alicia
