more 2000 glitches

Anybody seen any of these problems?
In Excel 2000 on Windows 2000, where the files were transferred from Office
97 on Windows 95, they are full of vertical page breaks. A one-page
document wants to print a narrow column on each of 3 pages. If the person
has administrator privileges this doesn't happen! This has happened with 2
users.
One person whose mac folders were transfered from a Mac can't open them
unless she's administrator. She can open the files in them if she searches
for them, but not the folders. When you look at the folder properties, you
don't get the Security tab. If you're administrator, it looks like
everything in My Documents has full priveleges.
On our Dell Optiplex machines, the Eudora installation is buggy. When the
user runs Eudora it complains that it can't modify linkhistory.dat and
descmap.pce because the user doesn't have the right access. If you delete
these files (as the user) everything's fine, or if you run it as
administrator. Again, the folders look like the user has all access. We
even installed it in a folder Program Files MIT, since there were reports
of access problems in Program Files.
All these machines have W2000 SP1, critical updates, and Office 2000 SP2
applied.
Any ideas on these would be great.
