Good Afternoon!

The Eudora Product Release Team would like to invite you to
participate in testing Eudora 5. We are hoping for approximately 20
volunteers to contribute and are looking for users of both Windows
and Macintosh platforms. In addition to testing Eudora 5 using
standard POP protocol, we are also seeking people with working
knowledge of IMAP to conduct additional testing.

Some issues to ponder prior to volunteering:

Available time for active evaluation:
  - we anticipate a 2-3 hour allotment for testing

Evaluation to include:
  - testing the installer process
  - testing the compatibility of the application
  - testing the documentation

If you agree to assist, we will provide the following:
  - the installer
  - the documentation
  - testing instructions
  - test results form

While we would prefer that you conduct the test on a machine that
will receive regular use, the installer you will be testing is in
beta and may cause unexpected changes to your system. If you do use
a production machine, you should plan to make a back up before
installing the software and frequently during the testing process.

As an alternative, we offer the Integration Laboratory located in N42
for testing. If you would prefer to use the lab, please contact me
to make arrangements.

If you are interested in assisting with the evaluation, please
contact me by Wednesday, January 31st, indicating which platform you
are interested in testing on and whether or not you have any working
knowledge of IMAP. We are sketching out plans to initiate testing on
Monday, February 5th and continuing for approximately two weeks
ending on February 20th. If you have any questions, please do not
hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,
