Hi All,
Has anyone out there ever encountered a utility that can set permissions
at the command line--I have used both cacls and xcacls for some tasks,
but they lack some basic functionality they claim to have. For example
(using xcacls), although I can add a user to an acl, I cannot edit or
remove a user who is already on that acl. I would be very grateful to
anyone who can come up with a solution (i.e. PERL script) or who has
experience with another utility that can perform that function (editing
an acl). You will receive my warmest thanks at the next NT Partners
