Greetings!

Below you'll find our monthly update of projects that the Software 
Release Team is currently engaged in.

Product Release Efforts
=======================
We are working to release the following software with assistance from 
many team members across IS and throughout the MIT community:

Macintosh Specific
------------------
BetterTelnet 2.0 - in final testing (minor fix for MITSIS keyboard mapping)
Eudora 4.3 - in internal testing
Eudora 5 - product release effort commencing
Microsoft Office 2001 - product release effort commencing
TSM (replaces ADSM) - in planning stages

Windows Specific
----------------
Eudora 4.3 - in development
Eudora 5 - product release effort commencing
Kerberos for Windows 2.1 - in development
KLPR - nearing testing
Plop - in development
TSM (Replaces ADSM) - in final testing
Windows NT hot fixes SP6 - in final review
WinZephyr - in development

Recently Released
-----------------
Kerberos for Macintosh version 3.0 - Announced mid-August
KLPR 2.1.1 - available via net-dist
Netscape 4.74 - Announced 9/7/00

Getting Connected 2000 - CD containing software and documentation for 
getting connected to MITnet.  Aimed primarily at incoming graduate 
students and others connecting from off campus.

We would appreciate hearing any comments or questions you may have.
