I have an NT server with a RAS server running. When dialing in the
connection is all good. However, when we try to map a drive to any share,
we get the following message:
x:/ is not accessible
access is denied
However, when logged on at the office we have all the appropriate
permissions and connect to these same shares with no problem.
Facts: All users have dial-in permission granted
There are no log-on time restrictions set
We have not created any account policies
RAS is configured to allow any authentication including clear test
Dial-in workstation does not have the encrypt password or data encryption
choices checked
The shares are located on an NTFS volume with the following:
Share - default hidden share
NTFS Permissions - Administrator (Full control)
- Domain Users (Full control)
User Folder share - Domain Users (Full control)
User Folder NTFS perm - Domian Users (Full control)
Any suggestions?
