Hi Tim,

There is a resource kit utility called timeserv that can be used to
sychronize a server from time.mit.edu and also synchronize the workstations
from that server.  It is easy to setup as a service and then it just works.

There should be documentation on the resource kit and if you have questions
about MIT specific settings, I can try to answer those.
