Session Topics
--------------
We'll present information on a few alternative internet service providers,
info on forwarding your e-mail, how to connect to Tether from long-distance
and tools that you may not be familiar with, but that would be helpful to
know about when traveling. The session will touch on the following areas:

* Good practices, testing, and bookkeeping before you leave
* Software and configuration before you go
* Connecting
-- Tether & adapting it for travel (long distance dialing, use of calling card)
-- Use of alternate dial-up service providers (cutting cost w/ local
dialing, what MIT services are/aren't available)
-- Use of web-based freemail services (security issues, forwarding from
another account)
* Special equipment for international travel, theft protection
* Considerations re: international travel
* Other sources of laptop and travel info
* Q&A: Other computing issues while away from MIT
