Hi Robert,
The only secure way to transfer files from an NT machine to Athena is to
use the zmodem capabilities of Host Explorer.
1. Use Host Explorer to telnet securely (i.e. with kerberos authentication
and encryption) to Athena.
2. attach the sipb locker
athena% attach sipb
3a. To send files to athena:
- athena% rz
- Select Transfer->Send File to Host
- Add the files you wish to transfer and click OK
3b. To get files from athena:
- athena% sz filename
- specify where you want to put the files on your local machine
You can use the command line ftp command to do annoymous ftp to outside
sites to submit your proposal data. We are looking into a Kerberized FTP
client for Windows NT, but do not have anything available at this time.
Hope this helps,
Jonathan
