Hi
My CD-Rom started to behave funny (intermittent errors and no autoruns) and
completely stopped to work on Friday.
When I try to access it I get an error message saying
"E:\ is not accessible, Data error (cyclic redundancy check)"
In the event log I get the entry:
"The device, \Device\CdRom0, has a bad block. "
What should I do?
Should I reinstall the driver (given I can't access the CD-ROM where do I
find my particular driver)
Is my CD-ROM dead?
IS the controler dead?
Thanks for your help
Avi Bernstein
