hi,
i am trying to install NT on a user's machine...i put in "Setup Disk 1" and
boot up the machine, the bios loads, the floppy sounds like it's booting,
the screen goes black, and then an "N" appears in the top left corner with
a static cursor. i left it for about 20 minutes, and nothing changed. i
tried this four times (once with a different install disk), and the same
thing happened.
the disk is ok, because it works on other machines. i think that the drive
is fine, because i can access it through DOS and "File Manager" in Win3.1
any ideas?
