NT workstation freezing

Hi. I just wanted to let people know about a problem we ran into with a
brand new IBM with NT pre-installed. It kept freezing, and when it did,
the power button wouldn't work, so you had to unplug it to reboot. Turns
out they didn't disable Advanced Power Management and Plug & Play in the
BIOS setup. These are not supported by NT, so can cause some flaky things
to happen if they're enabled. Just another thing to check for if you're
having problems with a new machine with NT. Anita
