networking problem

I have already contacted help desk (log#107754) about
this. Please excuse me if this is a repeat. We have a
new Gateway PC running Windows NT 4.0 and I am
having trouble setting it up properly on MITnet. I can do
basic things like surfing the web, send this message and
even browse the network neighborhood. But I don't see
myself on the neighborhood. Neither can I see this
computer from other computers in the same workgroup.
What could be the problem? Has it something to do with
sharing not being turned on? If so, how do I turn it on?
