Hi All,
Yesterday we had a problem changing a computers name of a windows 2000
laptop.
While it was changing its name the Windows 2000 DC decided that it would
drop the old name from Active Directory and not add the new name.
The computer thinks that it still has the old name and is still part of
the domain.
Since the computer account is no longer in the domain we can't log onto
the domain with the computer. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but
the local admin password was changed to something that we don't know.
Does anyone out there have a password recovery too?

Thanks for the help.
-Scott
