Hello,
One of the topics in yesterday's NT meeting was synchronizing the time. I
have chosen to use timeserv in the Server Resource Kit. I am editing the
timeserv.ini and I have input the PrimarySource as \\time.mit.edu. I think
the only other thing I need to change in this file is the type. Right now
the type is set to NISTACTS. What should the type be? There is a long list
of choices, including getting time from the National Research Council or
New Zealand but I don't see a choice that will let me use time.mit.edu.
Also, once I edit this file and run the update, how to I set the
workstations to get the time from the server?
Any help is appreciated.
