Folks, MIT's RLE has an mit-wide license to X-Win32. MIT users can
obtain a copy of X-Win32 for free from Seth Hall, Systems Manager for
RLE. Contact Seth at seth@speech.mit.edu or 3-8041.

The software is good and, evidently, free.

Aran--

Hummingbird Exceed
(http://www.hummingbird.com/products/nc/exceed/index.html) has been the
X-Window server of choice on Windows for some time, but it's very
pricey.
There are other commercial options, such as StarNet X-Win32
(http://www.starnet.com/products/) with better licensing.

There is also the free one included in CygWin/XFree86 port that runs on
(surprise, surprise) CygWin (http://cygwin.com/xfree/), which I have not

yet had time to evaluate, but I've heard good things about.

And to add to my e-mail--no, WinAthena does not come with X-Window
server
software, but you can of course add to it one of the above packages, I
presume.
