Hi there,

I'm trying to set a password on one of the web pages residing on my server
(NT 4.0 workstation using Microsoft Peer Web Services, massbay.mit.edu).

I'm confused as to how I need to be setting the permissions.

I can change permission to that file in three places:

1) From Explorer using the folder's security attributes
2) From Explorer using the folder's sharing attributes
3) From the Internet Service Manager editing the folder's directory properties.

How should the permissions be assigned with each of these? Do I need to
create a special NT user to log in to the page or can I simply set a name
and password using the sharing option?

Thanks in advance.

Scott
