Yes, I would believe it. A few years ago, a Burger King in upstate New
York offered a veggie burger. They offered it at a price which was
similar to the regular burgers, even though they were losing money on it
(I guess they were hoping to make up for the loss on fries and drinks and
the new vegetarian customers would buy.) Anyway, the veggie burgers
were very popular, and Burger King lost more money than they thought they
would, so they discontinued it.
