getting the most people to sign the Meatout pledge
(directions for printing pledge sheet below)
-everybody who signs the pledge will be entered into
a raffle for Country Life gift certificates

(Get involved! Meet other cool veggies!)

1) We need people to sign up for staffing a booth MONDAY
(pre-Meatout) and WEDNESDAY (day of the Meatout). If you can
help out either of these two days, please send an email
of when you would be available and how long you can staff.
(If you can help both days but would prefer to help on one,
Wednesday is more important.)

2) We need people to help with staffing tables at LOBDELL and
WALKER. The Food Services folks will have tables set up with
samples of veggie foods, and we want some people to stand there
and give out samples and literature. Please email if you could
do this.

(Note: If you don't mind whether you help at the cafeterias or the
Lobby 10 booth, just write a little note to the effect.)

3) Anybody wanna be a marauding carrot? or rabbit? Food Services has
informed us that their distributor will provide samples of baby
carrots to pass out, and we can pass out literature as well.

4) We will be making a poster to hang in the Student Center this weekend.
Keep your eyes open for meeting times.

5) There will again be a VEGETARIAN INDIAN DINNER in Kresge Lobby
from 5-6:30 p.m. Cost will be $2. (this is a bargain for a 5-course
dinner!)

6) After the Meatout, there will be a showing of Diet for a New America
and the "Lisa Simpson Goes Veggie" episode, as well as more free food!!!

7) You might WIN a FREE YEAR SUBSCRIPTION TO VEGETARIAN TIMES Magazine.
Just be the person to GET THE MOST PEOPLE TO SIGN THE MEATOUT PLEDGE!
Incidentally, everyone who *signs* the Meatout pledge will have a chance
for a gift certificate for two to Country Life Restaurant, courtesy of
MIT Food Services! (there will be a raffle to determine the winner.)
