i got a letter from p.e.t.a. today detailing their upcoming actions
against gillette. these all look great; hope some of you can go!
tuesday, feb. 13
PETA will unveil it's St. Valentine's Day gift to Gillette--a heart of
ice. A symbolic reminder of Gillette's cold indifference to animal
suffering.
***meet at 800 Boylston St. (prudential tower) at 11:45-2:00 posters and
heart will be provided.
tuesday, march 26
"dump gillette": dressed as garbage cans with the words "dump gillette"
on the front, activists will let the public know that the only place
for gillette's products is the trash while gillette continues its cruel
tests.
***meet at copley square at 11:45; walk to the prudential tower where
the protest will happen until 1pm. costumes provided.
*gather unused or used gillette products from people you know to send
back to gillette after the protest.
thursday, april 18
gillette's annual meeting. this year the SEC (securities and exchange
commission) has allowed PETA to introduce a resolution.
***meet at the john f. kennedy library in columbia point, boston at 8:30
am until 10am.
hope to see people turn out for these important protests!
