Hey there!
The First Annual MIT VSG VEGETARIAN THANKSGIVING POTLUCK DINNER will be:
Thursday, November 23 at 5 p.m.
Matt Krom's apartment, Central Square (directions below)
or meet in Lobby 7 at 4:45 to go over there
If you'd like, just show up! You don't have to already have RSVP'ed. Just so we
don't leave without you, if you think you will go, it would be nice if you could
send email or call at 5-8340 (Laura's number). But even so, feel free to just
show up.
Please bring a dish if you can, but you don't have to.
Ideas of things to bring:
mashed potatoes
squash
wild rice dish
stuffed pumpkin (?)
casseroles
tofu turkey (just kidding!)
...anything else you can think of!
VSG will almost certainly spot for drinks, napkins, etc.
Matt is making squash soup, maybe coleslaw and cornbread, and almost definitely
chocolate cake (vegan - it's wonderful!). I am going to try my hand at sweet
potato croquettes and cranberry almond chutney (a variation on cranberry
sauce). I am not sure what other people are bringing.
Matt has a nice kitchen so if you prefer you can do part or all of your cooking
over there.

Directions from Mass Ave in Central Square: walk down either Magazine,
Pearl, or Brookline towards the river for three short blocks, until
you come to Auburn Street. If you are on Magazine or Pearl, turn
left; if you are on Brookline, turn right. Our house is 117 Auburn,
ring the doorbell. Ph 497-8763.
