Each year, 40 million people die of hunger and hunger-related
diseases. One person in 5 in developing countries is
undernourished.
The first step toward solving these problems is through awareness.
The MIT Hunger Action Group cordially invites you to

(by the way, it's FREE!)
A very small portion of the world population has what many of
us take for granted - a full, healthy meal. A disturbingly
large proportion of individuals lives on little more than plain
rice.
The Hunger Banquet seeks to address these issues by challenging
people to think about inequities in the world's food distribution.
You'll be served dinner according to the proportions in the world
today. A short video and discussion will follow.
