For those of you in the area, I also saw a short article
about this new study on soy foods in the Boston Globe,
8/3/95.

Subject: 8/3 NY Times, NE Jour Medicine report that soyfoods save lives
and health
Today's "New England Journal of Medicine" reported on research done on
soyfoods and their benefits in preventing and reversing heart disease, and
in preventing osteoporosis and cancer.
The researchers suggested that each person "at risk" consume at least 47
grams of soy protein daily, replacing an equivalent amount of animal protein
with soy protein.
Medical mainstreamers pointed out that adding soy to a bad diet might not work.
Well, what more do we need to say?
Today's "New York Times" (8/3/95) covered this in a lengthy article that
spanned two pages (pages 1 and 22).
(Last night's network news also covered the article, prior to release. TV
and radio coverage do not present medical journal articles more than 12
hours in advance because of prior contractual agreements with the medical
journals.)
Soyfoods save lives and health, as long as they replace animal products in
the diet.
