On Friday there will be a health fair on the steps of the student
center, with various tables representing things like blood pressure,
etc. I am trying to coordinate a Vegetarian booth.
1. Can anyone staff the booth at any time between these hours?
2. Does anyone have any material to add to the table?
Presently, I am planning the following:
- poster saying, "MIT Vegetarian Support Group" (anyone wanna make
this...?)
- poster: "76 Reasons Why Meat is Harder to Swallow..."
- printouts from /mit/arf/vegetarianism
- color photocopies of a coloring book advocating vegetarianism.
- possibly some food -- any suggestions?
- vsg sign up sheet; arf sign up sheet; one time only mailing sign up
sheet.
Note: I think this table should emphasize the HEALTH BENEFITS rather
than pushing the animal rights/cruelty issue considering the forum. Any
suggestions/material to be used??
I am going to try to throw this together best I can but I'll need some
help for it to be good... Thanks,
