Sulking already? Frankly, I'm tired of hearing the whining, and have been
enjoying the intelligent, sometimes humourous discourse. If your attention
span is taxed by this list, by all means drop it.

I'd hate to see what happens if a truly debatable issue comes up. Sheesh,
this is just a chance for everyone to voice their opinion for once; I'm
delighted to know there are so many people on the list, and that they have
such wacked-out senses of humour!

On to some business: I moved from MIT to Berkeley recently, and have
(naturally) made friends with Leor Jacobi of UC-Berkeley's Vegan fame, who
has made Cal's food and housing office pay attention and provide vegan and
vegetarian meals. One of the great events they (the Vegetarian Society)
has just run is a coupon entitling the bearer to a FREE "Big Veg" Vegan
Burger and a beverage (while supplies. last.;-) )

They craftily swiped some golden arches logo, put the name "McVegan"
underneath, withthe words, "Billions and Billions Saved." It's a very
clever rip-off; I doubt that Micky Dee's would dare touch them.

Anyway, if anyone has the energy to run such an event at MIT, it shouldn't
be too hard to get MIT Food Service to pay attention. Go get 'em!

cheers,
