CALL FOR OFFICERS

Our group, MIT VSG, is growing. We are taking on more responsibility
than we can handle. We need to reorganize and redefine
responsibility.

Our Constitution states that elections should be held soon. Our
Constitution also has an amendment procedure.

Right now, the following projects are under way:
-- Suggesting recipes and ideas to the dining services.
-- the Great American Meat-Out dinner March 20
-- reorganizing and redefining the purpose of vsg.

We are in a catch-22: we are trying to expand but our 'informal'
organizational structure and increased membership is holding us back.
I don't even know if I am authorized to send out this letter, for
example.

To help, please send mail to vsg-officers and include this info:

What project(s) are you interested in? What is your schedule?
(what is a good meeting time? weekends? weekday evenings?)
We will want to hold a meeting that is easy for everyone to get to.

Please send your ideas for an organizational structure... how should
things be approved? Who are the members? Who decides what? How
often should meetings be held? What is involved with properly
"representing the group"?

	Mike
