three (3) local mit vegetarians who may not have tnx-giving dinner
plans yet-firmed-up (or those who at, say, x-mas, might also be
classified as waifs, friendless or even, perhaps, just too-ornery
to be invited to dinner at any time :-) regardless of a veg diet)
are, up to the number three (3), hereby invited to join us for
vegetarian thanksgiving 1993 at our home in cambridge.

we do eat dairy (i make 40 kinds of blintzes) and drink bottom-
fermented lagers, and can provide a post-prandial escort back
to campus if that is neccessary. (under-agers not applicable)

we have cats, wild-and-tame, no smoke, four kids (m,f,m,f,
ages 9,8,6 and 4) and one mit course 6 alum, '92, living in part
of the attic, somewhere, and lots of interesting junk, and
of course my favorite recent acquisition, between 22 and 30 tons
of eaps' rock collection (heh-heh, don't worry, this is not a ploy to
recruit additional heavy-mass-moving-and-placing-correctly help).

my wife, a course 4 alum, msvs '81, makes a very acceptable
quevos-rancheros, and many pies, always. pasta dishes and
potatoe curries of various sorts are also popular here.

beans and rice and broccoli abound, usually. sorry, no zucca :-(

now, if the lucky three (3) would like to bring something of their own
to prepare here, experiment with and on which to get some feedback,
i think our kitchen might accomodate that idea (though our
guest quarter's kitchen, often used during holidays, is pretty
much spoken for with very carnivorous guests these days. yup,
these good folks (biology and medicine at harvard) clearly lied
during our house-guest filtering process when queried re diet.

(if they are actually here on the appointed day and cooking the
usual, we'll positive-pressure our main part of the house to
prevent the intrusion of meat-smoke-fumes)

anyways, if planning to prepare food here, you may arrive as
early as neccessary, but not before 6pm the previous evening.

have i left anything out?

first three (3) respondents, on my word, get the phone number,
briefing and directions, or if applicable, offer of transport.

greater-than-three (3), please plead your cases and we can always
expand our eating-zone out into the back-yard-science-zone, barring
exceptionally interesting weather.
