I wonder if maybe I have been slightly misunderstood. I was not
trying to make any particular point. The quote was merely an
anecdote. The use of names to personify the animals and the
subsequent flippancy in describing their fate seemed to me to be very
ironic. I take the point about it being nothing to do with
vegetarianism, though. Sorry, I was just making conversation.
