Hi,
The IAP course on vegetarianism that the Med Center has done the past
couple (more?) years is being repeated this year. It is called
something like "The Smart Vegetarian" and has tips on eating a
vegetarian diet. I've found the talk somewhat outdated (the American
Dietetic Association's Position Paper on Vegetarianism, available under
the "Health" heading of our World Wide Web page - "add vsg; vsg" for athena
people, or URL http://www.mit.edu:8001/activities/vsg/home.html -- is,
in my opinion, much more useful and reflective of "recent" findings) and
I don't think current, content vegetarians would find it useful.
However, if you are struggling with the diet you may want to attend. It
is on Friday Feb 3rd; check the IAP guide for details.
