Hello All!
I just found out that Delta Airlines is cutting their vegetarian service...and
I'm more than a little annoyed.

They no longer offer vegetarian snacks on their "short" flights (in my case,
three hours), supposedly in order to keep fares cheap. They said that in
a survey of their passengers, many thought cheaper fares were more important
than meals. I'm all in favor of cheaper flights, but I don't see how a small
Dannon yogurt costs more than a meat sandwich. Even if it is more expensive to
have more options from their caterers, it doesn't seem as if it would be a
significant difference. Or should vegetarians get cheaper fares?
Delta has offered veg options for years, so it's really surprising that they
would be cutting service when everyone else seems to be getting it.

At any rate, I'm going to write them and I was hoping yall might want
to join in the flammage. Write to:

Delta Airlines
Consumer Affairs
Hartsfield International Airport
Atlanta, GA 30320

Well...now that I've got that off my chest...
Enjoy your holidays & IAP.

:)Roopa
