I know this response is over two weeks since the original post.
I felt compelled to offer another point of view:
If there can be human organ donors, why not animal organ donors?
Surely there must be people out there whose pets need new organs
?? Instead of offering the bodies of the put down animals to
research, offer them to another fellow creature whose life could
be improved with a new liver?
