Brenda Davis got rave reviews for her
presentations at Food Festival.  Now
she will present on her area of special
interest and expertise (a topic of much
misinformation):  dietary fat.

"Bit Fat Lies"

How much fat do people need?
How do we achieve optimal fatty acid intake & balance?
What are the best sources of fat in the diet?

Brenda Davis, author and registered dietitian,
is a leader in her field and an internationally
acclaimed speaker.  She is one of the most informed
and respected voices on plant-based nutrition.
Coming to us from western Canada with a broad
background in public health and
clinical nutrition as well as teaching, she is a past chair
of the Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group
of the American Dietetic Association.

Brenda is author of five books on veg nutrition,
including the newly released, "Defeating Diabetes"
and "The New Becoming Vegetarian." Her books
are hailed for their clarity, thoroughness, and
impeccable research. Her latest release ("The New...)
is THE definitive book to buy on plant based
nutrition - for sale at this event, with signing.

At 8:30 p.m. we present international wildlife
preservationist Anthony Marr.  A stirring and
thought-provoking speaker, he will give his
presentation on "Tigers Forever".

stops directly in front of Bldg. 35.

PARKING:
Attendees can use two lots, no charge,
just a 1-2 minute walk from our site:
1) Lot at 139 Mass. Ave. at corner of Albany St.
2) Kresge Lot - one block from our site on Mass.
Ave., turn onto Amherst St. (one short block from
Memorial Drive/Charles River).  Drive straight ahead
into the Kresge Lot.
