Hi everyone,
Here's what we discussed at our meeting last Wednesday:
1. We revised our group's constitution, which still bore the name of "MIT
Vegetarian Support Group". It is now consistent with our group's current
goals. If anyone would like a copy of it, please email me (rchickos@mit.edu)
and I'll be happy to send you one.
2. We have received more information about possible speakers for the year.
After we decide which speakers we want, if any, we will need to do a lot of
work to attain funding for the event. Possibilities include working again with
BVS and getting funding through relevant MIT departments.
3. The Boston Vegetarian Society's Food Festival is Saturday October 18th. It
runs all day long, but we'd like to organize a group trip there. More details
to come.
4. Our next meeting will be a dinner meeting at Country Life, Wednesday October
15th. We'll be meeting in Lobby 7 at 5pm and from there head out to the
restaurant.
5. On November 5th there will be another BVS speaker event. More details to
come.
It was a short meeting, so that's pretty much all we covered. I hope to see
