I had brought up the possibility of having a Sunday lunch get together.
However, I have since learned that the ESG (Experimental Studies Group) is
organizing a lunch trip to Chinatown for the same day. I thought that would be
interesting and perhaps relevant to vegetarianism, so I'm trying to find out
more about the trip and whether I can invite people, like you VSGers.
Meanwhile, though, I would appreciate it if you could write in if interested and
suggest dishes to make on Sunday (either this Sunday or next Sunday).
If the VSG lunch is scheduled for a Sunday, I thought it would be a good idea to
go on a shopping trip the previous day to obtain any uncommonly known items,
like the food sold in Chinatown. I am looking for someone knowledgeable in this
area to be our guide (it's very informal, but nevertheless a secondary purpose
for these lunches is to learn to cook better. And if we get good at it, we can
even be on TV. :->) Of course, if you can't make the shopping trip but can make
the lunch, that's OK.
So, to summerize, I was trying to organize this but I really don't have any
recepies or good sense of direction with which to lead.
