our vegetarian family would like again this year to
extend an open invitation to the un-committed, or
in certain family "circles" out-there, un-welcome at
this time of year for their vegetarianism, and related
habits, or non-habits (freely expand on this yourself)
mit student (especially, but faculty, staff and alum
are welcome) readers of this list.
afternoon dinner will probably be at our semi-rural
scene in north cambridge, but may happen at family digs
in harvard square (at university green; the old carnivorous
ones will off to the desert somewhere, eating their prey)
or at one of our real rural retreats, the one in southern vermont.
nb: as i'm also inviting my frosh advisees, who are not
all vegetarians (but i don't yet know how many shall
attend) this will also be a good opportunity for
them to meet some mit vsg'ers. a little networking.
though prompt responses are always welcome, up-to-thr ...
what-the-hell, any number of last minute vsg'ers are
welcome to come (but some known numbers, and what dish/es
those might like to have a hand in preparing, should
help with planning).
drop a note back here, or call us at home on 864-4039
to discuss details further,
