Subject: Harvard Students for Vegetarianism
Hello MIT Veg Group,
Hey, my name is Kyle and I'm a student at Harvard Divinity School. I've just
created a new student group called HDS Students for Animal Justice and am
excited about the possibilities of networking with other like-minded groups
throughout the region. Thus far, I've become connected with a new undergrad
animal/veg group at Harvard called PAW as well as the Harvard Law School
Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. I'm hoping that your group may be
interested as well in forming some type of coalition.
Whether you all are veg for environmental, health, animal or other reasons
does not matter as much in this case. The bottom line is that we are all
advocating vegetarianism. This upcoming Thursday, Oct. 10 HDS Students for
Animal Justice will be hosting its first ever speaking event. Gary Yourofsky,
PETA's National Lecturer, will be at the Divinity School primarily to advocate
for vegetarianism. I want to invite you all to this event and hope you can
help us a bit by forwarding out a message about this event to your mailing
list.
I can send the message soon if you all are interested.
