Hi, Ting Ting.
Ever think of having one big studentfest (hosted by MIT) -
inviting Harvard, BU, Tufts, Wellesley, MIT, Northeastern, Suffolk (has a law school and many great professional programs), Simmons, Emmanuel, Wheelock, even the Junior Colleges (community colleges around here: Bunker Hill CC, Roxbury CC, Cape Cod Community College - aka the 4 C's, Pine Manor Junior College), and the culinary schools (if you can find a vegan or even vegetarian there, you're all set for life, or for 4 years while in school), perhaps U. Mass, Salem State, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester State, U. Mass. Dartmouth, Mass. Maritime Academy, etc.
What a great vegetarian community MIT could help instigate around here.
Then we could all give shout outs (or shouts out?) to hundreds, even thousands of other veg(etari)an and veg(etari)an wannabe students.
Oh, and don't forget the Boston Vegetarian Food Festival on Saturday, October 19, at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center (RLTAC) at the Roxbury Community College (10 AM to 6 PM). The very FIRST BVFF was held at MIT on May 5, 1996, and (co)sponsored by the MIT VSG. (MIT VSG has a long, long, long and excellent and noble heritage of accomplishment and innovation.)
