I got this question too, and was really surprised. I didn't realize that
this is a common question.
I gave similar arguments to Laura and was told that experiments have
been done that show that plants feel too. I guess they killed one plant
in front of annother and the next plant shook. Is this true? Or am I
just being fickle again?
That is a good point about the lesser of two evils. Most people wouldn't
eat humans, right?
