Bummer huh? I discovered this fact last fall. I discovered, however, that
it is almost as easy to make them totally from scratch, so that's what I
do now. There are really not that many ingredients in cornbread and this
way you aren't exposed to all the preservatives. I usually make them with
whole wheat flour now, in fact. The color is a little darker than normal,
but they taste great. I will see if I can dig up the recipe and post it.
