hi all, i just got back from california and am leaving tomorrow for the
cape so cant make the potluck on the 5th :(
i will miss being there! so lets please have another later on, i am
free the rest of the summer.
i suggest people bring recipes along with an ingredients list.
as far as theme for a second dinner, maybe summer/BBQ (we can reserve the
bbq pits by johnson and make veggie kabobs, corn on the cob, baked
potatoes, patties, etc - rice would be good too, dunno how on a grill!).
other themes could be a specific ethnic/region - ie asian, middle
eastern. made veggie sushi recently - was good!
july 12th would also be good for me - you folks too? talk about it
on the 5th and let me know.
Mindwalk sounds good. re diet for a new america - judy did you say you
had it? richard is there still a vcr if we got together in burton?
and finally, laura was right about the name - Support, not Student, since
so many people in the group are not students. however, i am '94, not
'95. you cant trick me into spending another year at mit! i will be in
boston though, at harvard with mike b, and the 2 of us are planning on
starting a veg group there, so i am hoping the 2 groups can get together
for cambridge-area dinners and activities.
