In 7.1{A,B}, {latex,slitex,tex} don't seem to exist; they should be symlinks
to virtex.
In 7.1C, I found that the heap of latex has been greatly reduced. I was
able to latex a simple single-page document, but unable to latex my year-old
resume.
(No, 7.1C is not yet available, but the bug report will still be valid when
it is).
