I just remembered another aspect of my RT that has slowed down since I
took the release. When I run an X/Motif application that I am working
on, and click several times on a button that causes a screen update, I
notice that it responds and updates at about half the speed of the
6.4RT (both have 40M disks, 8M memory, sit on 7.0 packs, and run R4 X
servers; the 6.4 machine just has not been updated). These screen
updates do not involve and file I/O; they access virual memory only.
