What were you trying to do?
read the man page on expunge.
What's wrong:
It has a typo, top of p.2:
-f Used in conjunction with the -l option, this option
prevents expunge from prompting for confirmation after
listing all the files that are too be deleted. Furth-
^^^ should be 'to'
ermore, it prevents the printing of error messages.
What should have happened:
It should use the proper version of 'to'.
