I was using the sipb screen lock and I hit any key to enter my passwd and it
went back to Hit any key to start. I then logged in again and after setting
up a few windows it went back to Hit any key to start.

Bug reports like this are virtually useless to us, because they do
not provide the information we need in order to be able to diagnose
the bug. For example:
1. What type of workstation were you using, VS2, VS2000, VS3100, pMAX,
or RT?
2. Is your workstation running Release 6.4R, 7.0A, 7.0B, 7.0C, 7.0D,
or something else entirely?
3. What programs were you running when you were logged out? There are
known X server bugs which cause the X server to crash when certain
programs are run on it.
4. Has this happened to you in the past? If so, how frequently?
Furthermore, if your X server crashed (which seems like the likely
explanation), there is/was probably a core dump from it on your
workstation in /usr/tmp/core.root, and we would like a copy of that
coredump to see if we can find out where it crashed.
Finally, note that the first two questions above would have been
answered for us automatically if you had used the "sendbug" program to
report your bug.
