This is probably in the release notes, but people should be aware, of
the following:

It used to be that if you had the proper permissions in an AFS
directory, you could do things like cp to files that were owned by you
but not writeable.
Now, if a file is mode 555, afs will report permission denied on cp and strip.

I got so used to the old behavior, I thought something was broken when
this happened.  Caveat cp'tor.
