Until we fix it, you might be able to
mount --bind /afs/.athena/software/java_v1.1.6 /mit/java_v1.1.6
It's not quite the same semantics, though.

Mail on every ticket update goes to debathena@; you've just been added to
this list. Also, I think anyone can log in with MIT certificates, edit the
ticket, and add their e-mail to the Cc field.
There's also zephyr on each ticket update to -c debathena, and occasional
discussion about them on zephyr.
